St. Lawrence County is located in northern New York. St. Lawrence County has a total area of approximately 2821 square miles of which 95% is land and 5% water. As of the census of 2000, there were 111,931 people, 40,506 households, and 26,936 families residing in St. Lawrence County, New York. The county is adjacent to the same-named St. Lawrence River. Part of the county is in the Adirondack State Park as well as the Adirondack Mountains. St. Lawrence County is the largest county in New York state by area.
